About Community Market Day
The market town of Tain, the oldest Royal Burgh in Scotland, hosts the Peninsula's Community Market Day.
From April - to September you will find this bustling market open on the third Saturday of each month.
In October the market appears on the Saturday closest to Halloween and then in November, the market opens in the evening as a joint venture between Tain & District Development Trust and Tain Gala to welcome the switching on of the Christmas lights and a visit from Santa.
