Hamilton Cottage is a traditional stone cottage ideal for couples. Set in the beautiful countryside of Easter Ross Peninsula between the Dornoch & Moray Firths, the local area offers unspoilt beaches, coastal walks, quiet cycling and an abundance of wildlife.

Welcome to our self-catering cottage on the Easter Ross Peninsula.

Hamilton Cottage is a detached sandstone cottage ideal for couples looking for a rural hideaway. Set on one level, Hamilton Cottage comprises a double bedroom, shower room and an open plan living area where there is a modern, discrete kitchen. The luxurious leather sofa in the living room converts to a double bed if required.

Our cottage's style is clean and contemporary whilst retaining the feel of the traditional cottage at its heart with deep-set windows, vaulted wood ceilings and wood floors. The cottage has modern central heating in addition to open fire and a controllable hot water system. The open fire is lovely for those chilly evenings and cosy winter nights. Outside there is a small garden area leading to a parking/seating area. Adjoining this is a good-sized grassed area sheltered by trees where there is a table and chairs for two to relax (barbeque is also available).

High-quality bed linen and towels are supplied, along with an extensive range of household essentials (no need to remember to bring loo rolls etc!) On arrival you will find a welcome pack consisting of everything you will need to make yourself at home right away including a fresh loaf of our traditionally slow-fermented, organic homemade bread and eggs from our own free-range, organically kept hens or ducks (depending on your preference!).

Change over day is normally Saturday but we are happy to try to accommodate other arrangements if required.

For an extra special holiday experience why not book a relaxing massage or reflexology treatment? Tracy is a qualified Massage Therapist (Swedish Massage and Sport & Remedial Massage) and a Reflexology Practitioner and can provide a relaxing or energising treatment for you during your holiday. All treatments are half price for cottage guests at £15 for an hour of indulgence!
