About Shandwick Bay Beach
Shandwick Bay is the ideal beach for building sandcastles or searching for fossils. It is an award-winning unspoiled sandy beach with sand dunes and rocks at both ends.
It is the perfect place to stay awhile, dip your toes in the water and relax on the uncrowded golden sands.
There is a network of coastal paths and lots of parking. It is a great spot for wild swimming and for spotting wildlife, including dolphins, whales and sometimes you may even spot a mermaid!
