About St Duthac Book & Arts Festival

Experience a Book and Arts Lovers take on what a cultural festival can be with a focus on local talent in the book world, the arts and heritage.

Our author programme is packed with delights from all genres, from historical fiction and environmentalism to Scottish fantasy and folklore.

This year we are delighted to announce some new additions to the arts programme including arts workshops, a three-day Pro-Loco Art event and a satellite exhibition of art featuring for the first time an artists talk event. All this and an array of venues to visit including our pop-up shop and gallery in Tain.

The St Duthac Book and Arts Festival is based on the Easter Ross Peninsula in the Highlands, and delivers a wide range of free and affordable events to capture the imagination of everyone, regardless of age or stage in life.
