About The Studio at Croft Roy
Self-contained apartment in the grounds of a 200 year old listed cottage. Light, airy living/dining area with well-equipped kitchen, separate bedroom with double bed, shower room with luxury amenities. Quiet, yet short walk to town centre amenities, golf, Dornoch Firth, restaurants, etc.
This converted photographic studio is the perfect bolt-hole for a couple wishing for a quiet get-away, yet close to town amenities. Decorated in sophisticated mid-century style, the light and airy open-plan living area is perfect for relaxing, with flat-screen Tv, Bose sound system, High-speed internet and space for working on a laptop. A wood-burning stove and electric heating will keep you cosy on those chilly autumn evenings.
The well-equipped kitchen and dining area is perfect for cooking up a storm and dining 'a deux'. We supply complimentary tea, coffee and a range of condiments. The floor-to-ceiling window has views over the garden and beyond to Tain's medieval centre.
The Studio@Croft Roy is co-owned by professional landscape photographer and educator, Mark Janes. Why not combine your stay with a full-day, half-day or evening Photography Experience in which I'll take you to some of my favourite spots in the area and help you get the very best from your camera.
