Sat on the southern edge of the Easter Ross Peninsula, the area of Kilmuir & Logie Easter covers a number of small villages and communities.
It sits in one of the richest agricultural districts of Scotland and is home to Balnagowan Castle the seat of the Ross Clan, now a privately run estate with holiday homes.
The hills of Kinrive and Strathrory slope gently in the north to the shores of the Cromarty Firth in the south; on the northeast, flows the Balnagown River.
It is home to rich woods and arable land with farms, crofts, visitor accommodation and wonderful walks in Milton, Kildary and Scotsburn. Kilmuir is a former fishing village, located on the northeastern shore of Nigg Bay.
